Wichita Raceway Park (WRP) has officially rejoined the NHRA Member Track Network in the South Central Division (Division 4), signaling a promising new chapter for this Texas facility. Under the ownership of Keith Starr, WRP aims to enhance its local track programs and improve its facilities, benefiting both the track owners and the racers who participate. Starr emphasized the stability and resources provided by the NHRA as pivotal for nurturing a structured environment that allows racers to thrive and pursue their goals.

As part of the NHRA network, WRP will offer various NHRA-sanctioned racing opportunities, including the NHRA Summit Racing Series and the NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League, among others. This affiliation will allow local racers to compete on a national level, showcasing WRP’s commitment to grassroots racing in the Wichita Falls area. The South Central Division’s expansion is further bolstered by WRP’s inclusion, offering local competitors a rich array of racing programs.
