The PDRA World Finals at Virginia Motorsports Park concluded the 2025 season, crowning world champions and event winners. Key highlights included Ron Whitlock winning in Elite Top Sportsman and Linzie Coleman in Elite Top Dragster. Other winners were Jeff Melnick (Top Sportsman), Will Creasman (Top Dragster), Makenzie Alexander (Pro Jr. Dragster), Kylie Varnier (Top Jr. Dragster), and Billy Brewster (Bracket Bash).

The 2025 World Champions included Bryan LaFlam (Elite TS), Alan O’Brien (Elite TD), Jeff Talvacchio (TS), Clayton Roberts (TD), Makenzie Alexander (PJD), and Knox Schween (TJD).

In Elite Top Sportsman, Whitlock triumphed over Randy Perkinson with a run of 4.052 seconds at 184 mph. In Elite Top Dragster, Coleman narrowly defeated Steve Furr, clocking in at 3.775 seconds at 198 mph.

Melnick’s Top Sportsman title came after a win against Joe Roubicek, who went -.001 on the tree. Creasman secured his Top Dragster victory against James Albertson with a solid time of 4.267 seconds. In Pro Jr. Dragster, Alexander’s performance earned her both the event win and the world championship. Varnier won Top Jr. Dragster after competitor Tori Underwood’s red light, while Brewster clinched victory in the Bracket Bash against Ernie Laughlin.

Overall, the event served as a thrilling finale for competitors and fans alike.
