ICU Racing

One year after spinal fusion surgery, Victoria Beaner is thriving and returning to motorsports success. Previously hospitalized for 33 days, she has not only resumed racing but is also expanding her horizons in different motorsport disciplines. In July, she participated in Micro Sprint practice sessions and karting, spending time with her father to prepare for racing. Originally planning to debut a new Junior Dragster in Michigan, they decided to race her current car, “Deuce,” which led to a significant achievement: her first win post-surgery at Immokalee Regional Raceway, marking a poignant moment in her recovery journey.

Victoria’s success has inspired her to launch the Spine of Hope foundation, aimed at raising awareness for Idiopathic Scoliosis and encouraging others to pursue their dreams despite challenges. She plans to visit hospitals with her race cars to demonstrate that life goes on after surgery.

In addition to her foundation efforts, she is actively competing, having advanced in the PDRA drag racing series at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Michigan. Victoria continues to balance immediate racing goals with her foundation’s long-term mission. As she prepares for upcoming events, she emphasizes the importance of perseverance and the journey to recovery, believing it can be as rewarding as winning. Victoria’s story showcases resilience and the drive to inspire others through her passion for motorsports.
