Trey Vetter and Justin Lamb celebrated victories at the Denso Sonoma Nationals held at Sonoma Raceway. Vetter claimed his first NHRA National event Wally by winning in Super Stock against Kevin Motter, running a 9.621 at 133 mph. He also competed in the Super Comp finals but was ultimately defeated by Dale Green, who secured his second NHRA National event Wally after overcoming Vetter in a competitive match.

Justin Lamb achieved his 34th career win and second of the NHRA Western Swing by defeating Chad Loge in Stock Eliminator. Lamb capitalized on Loge’s early false start, running a 9.586 at 121 mph.

Other winners included Val Torres in Super Gas, who narrowly beat Larry Scarth in a double breakout race with a time of 9.887 at 161 mph, marking his 11th Wally victory. In Top Sportsman, Aaron Steinkey won his fifth Wally as he was unopposed in the final round after Richard Okerman was unable to compete.

Semi-finalists across various categories included Kyle Rizzoli, Nanette Stein, Bryan Phillips, Bailey Naber, Gabe Torres, and Rob Mendenhall.

In a related note, Megan Bohannon, a 27-year-old racer from Louisville, Kentucky, participates in the NHRA North Central Division 3 Super Comp series and contributes to race operations through TB Promotions.
