Ty Tutterow achieved his first victory in the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series at the North vs. South Shootout, driving his father Todd Tutterow’s screw-blown Quik Fuel ’69 Camaro. Tutterow won against Steve King with a time of 3.667 seconds at 206.54 MPH. Other winners included Fredy Scriba in Pro Nitrous, Blake Denton in Pro Street, Alan Drinkwater in Extreme Pro Stock, Jeff Melnick in Pro 632, and Connor McGee in Super Street.

In sportsman categories, Stacy Hall won in Elite Top Sportsman, while Kyle Harris claimed victory in Elite Top Dragster. Notable performances in Jr. Dragster were by Alyssa Rabon and Wyatt Piercey. Rabon’s final race saw her narrowly defeat Carter Jackson, while Piercey triumphed over Hanna Mattingly.

Tutterow showcased his driving skills throughout the event, defeating competitors like Ed Burnley and defending champion Jason Harris. Scriba’s win in Pro Nitrous was particularly poignant as it came shortly after his grandmother’s passing, and he beat Billy Albert in a close final.

Denton’s win in Pro Street emphasized the emotional weight of the event during Father’s Day weekend, and Drinkwater’s victory reinstated him as a points leader in Extreme Pro Stock. Despite various challenges posed by changing weather conditions, racers continued to perform admirably. The event concluded with anticipation for the upcoming Talbert Manufacturing Northern Nationals.
