Worm clamps are adequate for standard street cars, but high-boost projects require better options like V-bands or HD clamps. Traditionally, achieving a secure connection involved cutting and welding compressor housing surfaces, but Turbosmart has introduced an innovative solution: the lock sleeve. It comes in 2.5- and 3-inch sizes and uses threaded collars and seals to create a leak-proof connection without welding.

The design features a Top Ring that slides onto the compressor outlet, with Sealing Rings sandwiched in between to maintain boost pressure, rated up to 150 psi. The Bottom Ring then threads onto the Top Ring, providing a secure base for HD clamps. Additionally, the system includes a 90-degree elbow option for sharp turns, enhancing flexibility in plumbing while saving time and fabrication costs.

At SEMA 2025, Turbosmart showcased various new products, such as the Boost Hub, a central command center for controlling boost and methanol injection through various inputs like flex-fuel and EGTs. They also unveiled the eBoost 3, an advanced version of their previous controller featuring a full-color display and programmable tuning by rpm, time, and gear. Lastly, the D-Frame 88/92 is their latest turbo, capable of delivering over 1,200 horsepower. With these innovations, Turbosmart offers essential hardware for both simplifying plumbing and maximizing performance.
