Tony Stewart, the reigning NHRA Rookie of the Year, will participate in the Top Fuel All-Star Callout for the first time during the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway on March 8. He fills the eighth position in this eight-car format, previously held by Tony Schumacher, who will not compete. This event features a unique callout format, allowing drivers to potentially kick off the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season with a significant win.

Stewart expresses excitement about competing against a talented field and hopes to secure a victory for his team. Four-time world champion Steve Torrence secured the top spot in the callout for the second year running, while the complete lineup includes notable drivers such as Doug Kalitta, Shawn Langdon, Justin Ashley, Antron Brown, Brittany Force, and Clay Millican. The first-round pairings will be determined through a selection process on March 7, and the first round of racing starts at 1:30 p.m. ET on March 8.

The semifinals will follow at 3 p.m., with the final round scheduled for 4:30 p.m. A special broadcast will air on FS1 that evening. The event promises excitement, showcasing multiple world champions and a prestigious trophy, as well as the opportunity for drivers to earn both recognition and a substantial purse at one of NHRA’s most historic races. Qualifying rounds precede elimination races, beginning on March 7 and concluding on March 9.
