Tony Schumacher returns to the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, marking a significant event in his career and for Rick Ware Racing (RWR). Schumacher, an eight-time Top Fuel champion and the winningest driver in NHRA history, aims to capture his first U.S. Nationals win since 2016. This race holds personal importance for him, as he emphasizes his excitement about driving the 12,000-horsepower American Communications Construction dragster for RWR.

This year, alongside defending champion Clay Millican, who won the event in 2024, Schumacher joins a competitive field that also includes champions like Antron Brown, Brittany Force, and Doug Kalitta. The U.S. Nationals is the 14th event of the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, with crucial points up for grabs as drivers prepare for the imminent Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
