Langdon claimed his first No. 1 qualifier of the year in Top Fuel with a 3.684, 338.88 run, while Anderson retained his position in Pro Stock with a 6.497-second pass. Gadson led Pro Stock Motorcycle with a 6.747-second run.

Prock’s performance, including two competitive Saturday runs, reinforces his leadership as he heads into eliminations. “The points are so close right now, so we just have to focus on winning every race left,” he emphasized. Langdon, who sits third in points, echoed similar sentiments, noting the importance of consistency and speed in his dragster. Anderson expressed confidence in his team’s ability to manage the hot racetrack conditions, while Gadson, maintaining his championship lead, highlighted the synergy with his team as crucial for success.

Eliminations will commence at 10 a.m. CDT on Sunday, setting the stage for high-stakes racing at Texas Motorplex as competitors vie for supremacy in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
