Strange Engineering has reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots drag racing by becoming the title-rights sponsor of the 2026 Lil’ Gangstas Event Series. This partnership, announced during the 2025 PRI Show in Indianapolis, highlights Strange’s role in one of the racing community’s fastest-growing movements.

Created by Michael Poland and Tom Gunner (a.k.a. “Jimmy Dale”), the Lil’ Gangstas brand has transformed from a grassroots initiative into a national phenomenon, emphasizing authenticity, accessibility, and community. Poland expressed gratitude for Strange Engineering’s support, indicating that it validates their efforts and showcases dedication to expanding drag racing. Gunner echoed this sentiment, indicating that Strange’s backing affirms belief in the grassroots nature of their racing class.
