Hunter Green, the son of Gainesville Funny Car winner Chad Green, boasts three quarterfinal appearances and a career-best third-place qualifying round in Brainerd. Spencer Hyde, currently eighth in points, has experienced success with several runner-up finishes and a No. 1 qualifier achievement in Reading, making his Funny Car debut this season.
In Pro Stock, Stephen Bell, previously a standout in Factory Stock, has qualified for five events and reached the second round in Charlotte. Cody Coughlin, eighth in points, has one runner-up finish and a No. 1 qualifier from Epping. Matt Latino, son of veteran racer Eric Latino, has six appearances, reaching the semis in St. Louis.
Brayden Davis, now with Vance & Hines, has made two finals and secured two No. 1 qualifications in his debut season. Chris Vang will complete the eligibility criteria by participating in upcoming events. The award winner will be announced on Nov. 17 at the NHRA Awards Ceremony, recognizing the top rookie based on performance, participation, and fan engagement.
