The 22nd Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series, presented by David McMurtry Performance Engines, will kick off with Event #2 at Gulfport Dragway in Gulfport, MS, from April 24-26, 2026. This highly anticipated weekend will feature multiple competitive classes, including $5,000-to-win Electronics and $3,000-to-win Footbrake, along with Sportsman and Junior Dragster classes. The Super Quick 16, a special event for top racers, boasts a $1,000 purse and has free entry with a Saturday tech card purchase.

Due to the cancellation of Event #1, this event serves as the season’s opening for the series. Racers can expect significant payouts and exciting experiences, with Gulfport Dragway conveniently located near casinos and beaches for family enjoyment.

The Electronics class will offer $5,000 to the winner and $1,000 to the runner-up over both days, with additional opportunities for semi-finalists and round money.
