ARP’s engineering team continuously focuses on creating fastener kits for modern engines, such as the Chevy LS/LT, Ford Coyote, and Chrysler Gen III Hemi, while also catering to vintage enthusiasts. One notable product is the new head stud kit #151-4002 designed specifically for the 1927-31 Ford Model A 4-cylinder engines. This kit includes high-quality 8740 chrome moly studs, parallel ground washers, and polished stainless steel acorn nuts that are forged, hardened, and CNC machined.

In addition to the Model A kit, ARP provides five different kits for Ford flathead V-8 engines, suitable for various blocks from 1936 to 1953 with both factory and aftermarket cylinder heads. The company also offers head stud kits for inline 6-cylinder Ford engines produced between 1965 and 1996, specifically for 240 and 300 c.i.d. models.

All vintage application studs are manufactured in ARP’s California facility from premium 8740 chrome moly steel, rated for a tensile strength of 190,000 psi, making them significantly stronger than OEM options. The rolling of threads occurs post heat-treating, enhancing their fatigue strength up to 20 times better than conventional threads.
