Rachel Meyer-Curl, the former NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster World Champion, is making a notable return to championship-level racing in the IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series after stepping away from full-time competition at the end of 2021. Meyer-Curl boasts an impressive resume, including multiple Central Region championships and a standout 2021 season, during which she secured seven victories and achieved a personal best speed of 285.5 mph. After her championship victory, she stepped back to focus on her family and contribute more significantly to her father’s team.

Despite a reduced schedule, she demonstrated her competitive edge by winning at the 2023 Mo-Kan Nitro Chaos event and capturing the IHRA Ironman at Darana Dragway in 2025.
