Jordan Pratt dominated the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series West Central Division doubleheader at SRCA Dragstrip, clinching both Super Gas titles over the weekend. In the Sunday finals, notable results included Jeff Taylor defeating Don Thomas in Competition Eliminator, while Brett Speer outpaced Justin Jenkins in Super Stock. Hunter Pierdolla triumphed in Stock Eliminator against Jim Beuthel, and Phil Unruh won Super Comp over Ryan Stifflear by a narrow margin. Jordan Pratt’s victory in Super Gas was marked by a close finish against Michael Johnston. Chris Haralson captured the Super Street title, edging out Dennis Haralson. In Top Sportsman and Top Dragster, Lance Abbott and Jeff Koron secured victories, respectively, while John Fitzpatrick won the Sportsman Motorcycle category against Donnie Durenberger.

The event also saw competitors post impressive qualifying times over the preceding days. In Competition Eliminator, Steve Basgall led with a time of 6.589 seconds, while Bob Cruzen led in Super Stock with 9.076 seconds. Billy Maddox was the fastest in Stock Eliminator, clocking 9.313 seconds. Joey Luttrull dominated Top Dragster with a time of 6.125 seconds, and the Sportsman Motorcycle category saw Tracy Helmhold achieve a remarkable reaction time of 0.001 seconds.
