Blake Peavler and Trisha Owens shined at the Texas NHRA Fall Nationals Stampede of Speed, held at the Texas Motorplex. Peavler celebrated a remarkable double win, clinching the JEGS Allstars title on Saturday and the overall Top Dragster Wally on Sunday. Meanwhile, Owens marked a significant milestone by winning her first NHRA National event Wally at her home track.

Additional winners included Jeff Taylor (Comp Eliminator), Darrell Stobbe (Super Stock), Jerry Emmons (Stock Eliminator), Wayne Landry (Super Comp), and James Gonzales (Super Street), all celebrating their triumphs as the weekend wrapped up.

In the Comp Eliminator final, Taylor triumphed over Joe Carnasciale, despite an early advantage for Carnasciale. Stobbe achieved his first victory by defeating Speedy Emmons in Super Stock, while Emmons secured his 20th career win in Stock Eliminator against Doug Lambeck.

Wayne Landry captured his third Super Comp trophy after defeating Thomas Marlow, and Trisha Owens, with a slight starting line advantage, won in Super Gas against Bill Dennis. James Gonzales also celebrated his first win in Super Street by overcoming Jimmy Denham.

Lastly, Doug Crumlich took home his fifth Top Sportsman Wally, defeating Bradley Johnson. Peavler’s remarkable performance solidified his status as the weekend’s standout racer, earning accolades and admiration from fellow competitors.
