The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series returns to Route 66 Raceway in Chicago for the 25th Gerber Collision & Glass NHRA Route 66 Nationals from May 15-18, featuring a weekend packed with excitement and celebration. Among the highlights is the thrilling “Drag and Drive” eight-car exhibition, the PEAK Street Car Shootout presented by Sick the Magazine, showcasing renowned drivers like Alex Taylor, Tom Bailey, and Bryant Goldstone in some of the world’s fastest street cars.

The event will include four rounds of qualifying for Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock Motorcycle racers, culminating in eliminations on Sunday. Taylor and Bailey will participate in meet-and-greet sessions for fans, enhancing the interactive experience at Nitro Alley Stage. The race weekend will also celebrate past champions, including Antron Brown, who secured his fourth Chicago win last season, and Matt Hagan, a four-time Funny Car world champion.

Additional action will unfold with competition in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and other classes, providing a diverse motorsport spectacle. Fans are encouraged to experience the atmosphere, engage with racers, and enjoy special ceremonies throughout the weekend.
