These shootouts, which began four years ago, will be held at all seven NHRA division events, including two at Pomona Dragstrip. Winners will receive a special diamond trophy commemorating NHRA’s anniversary. The season kicks off with the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals from April 9-12, featuring a televised finale.
Additionally, each division will host championship points races and a Season Championship series, contributing to an extensive racing schedule. The league has been a launching pad for many now-prominent NHRA drivers, including Erica Enders and Shawn Langdon.
The league promotes youth involvement in motorsports, ensuring the sport’s future by providing young racers with opportunities to compete at high levels. More details are available at the NHRA Junior Dragster website and NHRA’s general site.
