The NHRA has canceled the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals at Pomona Dragstrip due to persistent adverse weather and unsafe track conditions. After extensive assessment by the NHRA Safety Safari and consultations with safety officials, the decision was made to prioritize the safety of competitors, teams, and fans.

Despite the cancellation, the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series world champions have been determined: Austin Prock won his second consecutive Funny Car championship, while Dallas Glenn and Richard Gadson earned their first titles in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, respectively. Doug Kalitta also secured his second career Top Fuel world championship on Saturday.

NHRA President Glen Cromwell expressed gratitude to the NHRA community and fans for their unwavering support during the challenging weekend, emphasizing the integrity of safety in their decision-making process. He thanked the track staff at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, emergency personnel, and partners for their efforts throughout the event.
