At the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Doug Kalitta clinched his fifth Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory of the season, defeating Clay Millican in the final round. Kalitta’s dragster achieved a best time of 3.730 seconds at 332.92 mph. Other category winners included J.R. Todd (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock), and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle), all of whom secured victories in the specialty race.

Brittany Force, Jack Beckman, Anderson, and Gaige Herrera retained their positions as provisional No. 1 qualifiers. J.R. Todd’s win came after he capitalized on Austin Prock’s red-light foul, marking his second specialty race win this year. Matt Hagan, meanwhile, concluded the regular season as the Mission Challenge winner, securing 16 bonus points.

In Pro Stock, Greg Anderson triumphed over Erica Enders with a run of 6.523 seconds, following a stellar performance that left him as the No. 1 qualifier. Richard Gadson also enjoyed success in Pro Stock Motorcycle, defeating Matt Smith to claim his second victory in the specialty race.

Qualifying for the NHRA continues on Sunday, leading to the finals scheduled for Monday. The event showcased remarkable performances, making it a thrilling segment of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
