Chad Traylor and Richard Alford Jr. emerged as big winners at the TB East Coast Twin Fifties race held at Virginia Motorsports Park, each securing $50,000 over the weekend. This marked their first wins in TB Promotions events, with Traylor driving the Anthony Bertozzi-owned dragster and Alford switching to Chad Duke’s Camaro after his personal vehicle broke down during the race.

The weekend kicked off with a warm-up race on Thursday, where Jayden Lawler claimed a 2025 American Race Cars dragster by defeating Matt Dadas. Unfortunately, the Fuel Factory 48 Shootout was canceled due to inclement weather.

On Friday, Traylor triumphed over Thomas Davis in the final round, while the semi-finalist, Ernie Humes, also won a no-box bonus. In addition, Nevaeh Gilbert won the junior dragster division.

Saturday’s final came down to Alford and Michael Paschal, who had to split the race due to a curfew. A coin toss determined Alford as the winner. Paschal also reached the semi-finals with both of his entries. Nick Hastings secured a no-box bonus leading into the main event, and Ayden Tilghman won the junior dragster category.

Megan Bohannon, a seasoned racer and TB Promotions team member, plays a key role in the organization, from promoting events to managing social media. She can be contacted via Facebook or email.
