The Nostalgia Drag Racing League (NDRL) is excited to announce the addition of a new class: Nostalgia Gasser, beginning in 2026. This class celebrates the raw, authentic essence of 1960s drag racing, focusing on skill and instinct rather than modern technology. Participants select their own index in .10-second increments and race on a .500 handicap full tree, without the aid of throttle stops or delay boxes—just pure driver ability and the thrill of race fuel.

Nostalgia Gasser cars embody the classic aesthetic of the era, featuring straight-axle front ends and vibrant paint jobs. Eligible vehicles include period-style gassers like Tri-Fives, Willys, and Novas, capturing the spirit of drag racing’s golden age. With loud, powerful engines and a simple tuning process, the class emphasizes a straightforward and exhilarating racing experience.

NDRL’s existing lineup already includes popular classes such as 7.00 and 7.50 Index, Pro Comp, and Modified Production, and the league plans to enhance variety and excitement in their series. Racing events are held monthly from May to October, attracting competitors from across North America in a family-friendly environment.
