Cody Coughlin, a Rookie of the Year candidate, is set to debut in the Pro Stock category of the NHRA’s Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, driving a Chevrolet Camaro powered by KB Titan Racing. Coughlin, who comes from a racing family with a history in NHRA, has transitioned from successful circle track racing to the quarter-mile dragstrip, bringing extensive motorsport experience. His family, including well-known racers like his father John and cousins Jeg and Troy, has generated numerous wins and titles in drag racing.

Coughlin’s racing credentials include victories in Quarter-Midget racing, multiple championships in the ASA Late Model Series, and wins in the ARCA/CRA Super Late Model series. He was the first driver to secure titles in both the ARCA/CRA Super Late Model and JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour in the same year, highlighting his prowess on the track.

Encouraged by six-time champion Greg Anderson, Coughlin obtained his Pro Stock license in January 2025 and aims for a full season with KB Titan Racing. His initial sponsorship comes from his own real estate company, with more partners expected to join soon. Coughlin is eager to refine his driving skills, prepare for competition, and potentially earn a prestigious Wally trophy. He looks forward to experiencing new tracks and embracing this new chapter in his racing career, blending his business focus with his passion for competitive racing.
