At the 2026 NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway, Clay Millican claimed his first Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory in Top Fuel, winning on a holeshot. Millican’s impressive run of 3.832 seconds at 325.14 mph edged out Billy Torrence, while Doug Kalitta, the points leader, struggled off the starting line. Millican expressed gratitude to his team for their continued improvements, aiming for back-to-back wins on Sunday.

In Funny Car, Jordan Vandergriff achieved his first-ever NHRA victory, winning over Ron Capps, J.R. Todd, and Matt Hagan with a time of 3.933 seconds. Vandergriff noted the challenges of racing four-wide but attributed his success to his team and growing comfort in the Funny Car.

Greg Anderson extended his success in Pro Stock, securing the No. 1 qualifier for a third consecutive race and winning the specialty challenge with a time of 6.549 seconds. He described the day as advantageous for him and his team at Hendrick Cars.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, two-time world champion Gaige Herrera triumphed with a 6.759-second run, showcasing a significant starting-line advantage. Herrera relished the challenge of competing against top contenders, while Matt Smith marked his 60th career No. 1 qualifier milestone despite not winning on that day.

Eliminations for the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals are set for Sunday at 12 p.m. ET.
