Leah Martin has been appointed President of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), where she will manage operations across various motorsports disciplines and support the organization’s strategic efforts. Martin previously held leadership roles in national nonprofits and served as Executive Director of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, a major powerboating event. She has been involved in the IHRA’s internal development, aiding in operational alignment and organizational planning.

In her new role, Martin will collaborate with IHRA CEO Darryl Cuttell and department leads to improve processes, enhance event operations, and advance IHRA’s motorsports programs. She expressed a commitment to promoting a racer-first mindset and focusing on the long-term growth of the IHRA. “My focus is on fostering collaboration, strengthening operations, and building a foundation that carries the IHRA forward,” she stated.

Cuttell praised Martin’s strong organizational and strategic skills, affirming that her approach aligns well with IHRA’s direction. The IHRA is actively developing its multi-discipline platform and refining its leadership structure as it prepares for the upcoming 2026 season and beyond. This transition represents a significant step for the organization as it aims to enhance its presence in the motorsports community.
