In Funny Car, Jack Beckman’s Friday run of 3.913 seconds went unmatched, leaving him at the top again, with Ron Capps and Austin Prock following. Meanwhile, Erica Enders achieved her first No. 1 qualifying spot in nearly two years with a run of 6.542 seconds at 209.92 mph, aiming for her 50th career victory. Enders’s win helped her regain momentum in a challenging season, while DeJoria celebrated her return to the winner’s circle despite a lackluster final against her teammate. Shawn Langdon and Gaige Herrera also claimed victories, solidifying an exciting lead-up to Sunday’s eliminations, with Herrera noting the competitiveness of the field.
