The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Northwest Division event at Firebird Raceway showcased competitive racing, with notable victories from Cody Lane, Brad Burton, and Parker Theobald across various categories.

In Competition Eliminator, Cody Lane from Seattle triumphed in his ’32 Bantam, clocking 4.698 seconds, besting Don Bevers’ ’89 Probe. Brad Burton secured victory in Super Stock with a time of 6.067 seconds in his ’91 Firebird against Brian Thompson’s ’89 Mustang. Parker Theobald emerged victorious in Stock Eliminator, driving his ’69 Barracuda to a time of 6.758 seconds to defeat Christopher Cour.

Other highlights included Rayce Kidd winning Super Comp, Sandra Bracey-Nero taking Super Gas, and Art Hoover winning Super Street. In Top Sportsman, Chad Riley beat Robert Strohm, while in Top Dragster, Brandon Hoover claimed victory over Jessica Juel. Jesse May won in Sportsman Motorcycle, and Mark Kidd secured a win in Super Pro, defating Anthony Boven.

Additionally, other preliminary results indicated fierce competition leading into eliminations, with several top qualifiers demonstrating impressive performance metrics, contributing to an exciting weekend of drag racing. The outcomes not only showcased individual prowess but also highlighted the enduring spirit of motorsport in the Northwest region.
