The 22nd Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series, presented by David McMurtry Performance Engines, will kick off its 2026 season with Event #1 from February 13-15 at Gulfport Dragway in Mississippi. The event promises two exciting days of competition, featuring $7,500-to-win Electronics races, a Footbrake category with a $4,000 purse, and classes for Sportsman and Junior Dragsters. A new FREE entry Super Quick 16 competition will also be included.

Racers can compete in the Electronics class for a $250 weekend entry or $150 per day, with payouts for winners and runners-up. Buybacks are available, and electric vehicles are not permitted. The Electronics class will also allow motorcycles to participate. In the Footbrake category, the entry fee is $200 for the weekend or $125 for a single day, with similar payout structures.

Junior Dragsters will have separate age classes with payouts of $800 for winner and $200 for runner-up. New features include a Wild Card option allowing racers to advance in their heats.

Spectators can enjoy the event with various admission options, including $10 for Friday, $20 for a single day, or $40 for the entire weekend; children under 8 can enter for free.
