Jon Corbin triumphed over Austin Johnson in the Trailer Ranch/JEGS Performance $75,000 final at the RAD Torque Systems Fall Fling, held at Bristol Dragway. Corbin, in his 1968 Firebird, delivered an impressive performance, clinching the win with a .015 total against Johnson’s 2017 Racecraft dragster. This victory not only awarded him the substantial purse but also secured the Robco Residential Fall Fling Points Championship by three rounds, earning him a Biondo trophy shifter, a custom plaque, a trophy, and a $3,000 bonus.

The semifinals heightened tensions as three competitors vied for both the championship title and the lucrative prize. Corbin showcased his skills, achieving a perfect launch and running dead-on a 5.91 dial for a remarkable .001 package. Meanwhile, competitor Dale West faced challenges that prevented him from making a clean pass.

The competition featured a tightly contested ladder among six drivers, including Robert Hefti and Brittanie Ulmer. Johnson managed to take the win over Ulmer by a slim margin, while Corbin edged out Hefti by a mere .004 seconds, solidifying his spot in the final.

The Fall Fling season will conclude with the JEGS Performance Door Car Fling at GALOT Motorsports Park in Benson, NC, from October 15-19, presenting an opportunity for more thrilling racing action. For updates, visit www.BracketRaces.com or the Spring Fling Bracket Races Facebook page.
