At the U.S. Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park, Jimmy Taylor claimed the provisional No. 1 qualifier position in the Pro Mod category with a remarkable pass of 3.555 seconds at 224.77 mph, beating previous leader Jason Harris by just a thousandth of a second. Taylor received a $5,000 Pro Line Racing “Off The Trailer” Bonus for his performance. Harris, who is aiming for a Clean Sweep Challenge that could earn him a new Pro Mod chassis, secured the second position with a time of 3.556 and plans to compete in the remaining two races of the Winter Series.

The event also featured qualifying sessions for various drag radial classes, including Pro 275 and Limited Drag Radial. Taylor expressed excitement about the competition, noting that many cars are already in the 3.50-second range. Meanwhile, retired NFL star Fletcher Cox led in the Pro 10.5 category with a pass of 3.895 seconds.

In the FuelTech Radial Outlaws competition, provisional leaders included Lyle Barnett in Pro 275 and Jamie Stanton in Limited Drag Radial. The event continues with additional qualifying sessions on Friday and offers various ticket options, including free admission for active military and children under 12.
