As the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season approaches, JCM Racing is completing pre-season preparations for the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, from March 7-9. Driver Alexis DeJoria will debut her JCM Racing team during a two-day pre-season test at Gainesville Raceway on March 4. The Bandero Café Funny Car team is led by experienced tuner Todd Smith, who joined JCM Racing in January after a successful nine-year stint with Kalitta Motorsports. Smith emphasizes the excitement of building a new team from the ground up alongside co-crew chief Mike “Zippy” Neff, as both he and DeJoria adapt to their new roles.

Meanwhile, Zetterström, also part of JCM Racing and spearheaded by Jon Schaffer, is preparing for her Gatornationals debut after recently testing at the same venue. Zetterström has expanded her schedule to ten races this season, significantly more than her previous eight events. She aims to compete for a championship, contingent on securing necessary funding. Zetterström was recognized as ‘Best New Talent’ in the 2024 National Dragster All-Star Team fan vote and stresses the need for partnerships to help achieve her racing goals.
