After a rocky start to the season, this performance validated the efforts of his crew chiefs, John Collins and David Grubnic, as Hart emphasized the team’s hard work and commitment to refining the dragster’s performance.

In Funny Car, J.R. Todd demonstrated renewed consistency after overcoming earlier clutch controller issues. His best run of 3.885 seconds at 335.73 mph marked his third No. 1 qualifying position this season. Todd expressed optimism about the upcoming eliminations, believing that their efforts are positioning them well for both the regular season and the Countdown to the Championship.

Meanwhile, in Pro Stock, Dallas Glenn earned his first No. 1 qualifier of the season, highlighted by a strong performance in the final qualifying session. Greg Anderson matched Glenn’s elapsed time, but Glenn’s higher speed secured him an additional $2,000 award.

On a competitive Saturday, Antron Brown claimed a Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge victory, emphasizing the importance of such races for championship preparation.
