The Gregg Racing team, led by owner Greg Lawrence and driver Jerry Kumre Jr., will kick off the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods-Lucas Oil season at the Lucas Oil Winternationals in Pomona, California, from March 27-30. Although Kumre joined the team in 2024 and they ran a limited schedule to build their synergy, Lawrence expressed optimism about their performance and the upcoming season.

The team plans to compete in several events, including the Pomona, Vegas 1, and Woodburn, Oregon races, before reassessing their overall performance and business commitments. Ideally, they aim to close the season at the Seattle national event, followed by Vegas 2, and finish at the Pomona World Finals.

Gregg Racing is also excited to announce that Champion Home Builders will sponsor their injected nitro dragster for the first two events. Champion Home Builders is a leading supplier of manufactured and modular homes in the U.S. and Canada. Kumre, who has represented Champion as a dealer for over a decade, expresses pride in promoting their brand within the NHRA community.

Celebrating their 25th year in Top Alcohol Dragster competition, Gregg Racing aims to connect NHRA fans with the manufactured home industry. The team appreciates its long-term supporters, including Commercial Business Machines, and invites fans to watch their action live on NHRA.tv, while more details are available at greggracing.net.
