The 21st Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series, sponsored by David McMurtry Engines, will take place from September 5-7, 2025, at Gulfport Dragway in Gulfport, MS. This exciting event features multiple classes of racing, including Electronics, Footbrake, Sportsman, and Junior Dragsters. A highlight of this year’s event is the new Saturday $1,000-to-win Quick 16 Bracket class.

Competitors in Rick’s Powder Coating & Customs Electronics can vie for a $5,000 top prize, with a $200 weekend entry fee. The Alliance Race Wear Footbrake class offers $3,000 for the winner, while the Velocity Racing Carbs Sportsman class has a top payout of $100, and entries are free. Junior Dragster classes will have prizes ranging from $200 to $800, depending on age and participation.

The Quick 16 will see the top eight door cars and dragsters compete for $1,000, with entry included for Electronics tech card holders. Various wild card options are available across classes, providing additional competitive opportunities.

Event specifics include Test N’ Tune on Friday, with racing beginning Saturday morning. Spectator admission ranges from $10-$40, with kids under eight admitted free. Additional perks include discounted rates for those arriving late on Saturday or Sunday.
