The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Southeast Division held a doubleheader at South Georgia Motorsports Park, with notable winners including John Frech, Jimmy Hidalgo Jr., and Jeff Longhany in Race 2. In the Competition Eliminator, Frech defeated Joel Warren with an impressive time of 8.006 seconds. Hidalgo took the Super Stock title against Monty Bogan, who broke during the race. Longhany won the Stock Eliminator against Steve Foley, who also encountered issues. Other winners included Hayden James in Super Comp, Sherman Adcock in Super Gas, Dan Schreiber in Super Street, Rick McDonough in Top Sportsman, and Brooke Foley in Top Dragster.

The event featured a solid field of competitors, showcasing a range of high-performance vehicles. Saturday’s qualifying results highlighted standout performances, with Steve Johnson and Dennis Steward leading in their respective categories. The series attracted drivers from various regions, reflecting competitive spirit and engineering excellence.

In Race 1, earlier results revealed David Eaton winning in Competition Eliminator and Mike Crutchfield in Super Stock. Several participants faced challenges, including foul calls and breakages.
