The Festival of Power kicks off Santa Pod Raceway’s 60th Anniversary season over the Easter weekend, featuring thrilling family entertainment and championship drag racing. The event highlights standout performances from four nitro-burning Funny Cars, each generating over 10,000 horsepower, competing for an early lead in the 2026 Funny Car Cup. Additionally, reigning Top Fuel champion Susanne Callin from Sweden and newcomer Colin Millar from Scotland will showcase their talents, with Millar aiming for a Top Fuel license.

The Festival is renowned for its spectacular Jet Car shows, including Martin Hill’s Fireforce Jet Cars and the unique steam-powered motorcycle designed by Graham Sykes, renowned for its impressive acceleration.

The event features a full racing line-up, including the Pro Mod category from the FuelTech Motorsport UK British Drag Racing Championship, alongside nearly 300 entries across various categories. Fans can enjoy close-up views of pit activities and a bustling off-track schedule including Monster Truck displays, precision driving shows by stunt driver Terry Grant, and the new Moto Syndicate FMX crew.

Family-friendly activities include climbing walls, a Dinosaur Walkabout, inflatables, visits from beloved children’s characters, and more. Attendees can camp overnight, enjoy live music, and a variety of food and drink options. The Festival of Power runs from April 3rd to 5th, 2026, with tickets available online or by phone.
