NHRA drag racing enthusiasts can now engage with the sport through a new mobile game, NHRA Legends of Drag Racing, developed by Concrete Software and Trailmark Games. Available for free on iOS and Android, this game is part of NHRA’s 75th anniversary celebration, showcasing a rich history of legendary drivers and iconic cars. Players can race famous vehicles, such as Shirley Muldowney’s Top Fuel dragster and Bob Glidden’s Pro Stock Ford Pinto, as well as modern machines from current champions like Brittany Force.

The game emphasizes the fundamentals of drag racing, requiring players to manage staging, reaction times, and tuning, thus reflecting the precision of real-world competition. Players can also compete on famous tracks like Gainesville Raceway and Pomona, tying them to the storied legacy of the sport. NHRA officials aim to appeal to both lifelong fans and newcomers, introducing younger audiences to drag racing’s exciting heritage.

Keith Pichelman, CEO of Concrete Software, stressed that authenticity was central to the game’s development, allowing players to collect and race historic cars. The game promises ongoing updates and weekly events linked to NHRA national races, making it a significant new platform for fans to connect with drag racing’s vibrant history.
