Elite Motorsports has established remarkable success at Sonoma Raceway in the Pro Stock category, aiming to extend their winning streak as the NHRA season progresses. The organization has triumphed in the last four Pro Stock races at Sonoma, starting with Aaron Stanfield’s win in 2021, followed by Erica Enders, Aaron again, and Greg Stanfield’s significant victory over Aaron in a memorable final round last year.

Entering the upcoming DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals, Aaron Stanfield carries momentum after securing his second Pro Stock win of the 2026 season at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals. He currently ranks fifth in the championship standings, crediting the entire Elite Motorsports team for their collective effort in enhancing performance.

Aaron expressed enthusiasm about potentially reversing last year’s final round outcome against his father Greg, who sits fourth in points and strives to replicate his previous Sonoma success. Greg has consistently excelled this season, earning six semifinal appearances and recently achieving his first No. 1 qualifying position since 2009.

Achieving a fifth consecutive victory would solidify Elite Motorsports’ dominance at Sonoma, but with strong competitors like KB Titan Racing in the mix, victory won’t come easily. Additionally, Aaron aims to gain crucial championship points during the Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, setting the stage for an exciting weekend of racing.
