On February 26, 2025, Racer X aims to reclaim his pride after losing to Dragtimes’ Brooks Weisblat in a previous race. The competition features two high-performance cars that have undergone minimal modifications. Dragtimes races a Tesla Model S Plaid equipped with the Track Package, boasting three electric motors that produce 1,020 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. This all-wheel-drive EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 2 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 9.2 seconds at 150 mph, with a top speed of 200 mph. The Track Package includes advanced braking systems and adaptive suspension, making it a premier track contender, holding the record for production EVs at Nürburgring.

On the other side, Racer X drives a rear-wheel drive Dodge Challenger Demon 170, featuring a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine that generates 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque. The Demon accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.66 seconds and finishes the quarter-mile in 8.91 seconds at 151.17 mph. Racer X has upgraded to lightweight wheels and a new factory engine since last year’s loss, maintaining overall stock conditions.

With both competitors highly skilled and their vehicles closely matched, anticipation builds for an exhilarating race to determine who will emerge victorious this year.
