ICU Racing

The Napp Brothers Racing (NBR) logo often adorns drag racing cars, representing the passion of David Napp, the second eldest son of the late Vinny Napp. While the name may imply a brotherhood, it signifies David’s commitment to the sport and the community of drag racing that has greatly influenced his family’s legacy. NBR has supported various racers, including Junior Dragsters, fuel cars, and sportsman racers, as a tribute to his father and uncle, who passed away before the family’s racing facility closed after 53 years.

David expressed gratitude towards the racing community, acknowledging their role in building the Napp legacy. He remains committed to sponsoring events and cars to honor those who supported his family’s endeavor. Among racers featuring the NBR logo are Travis Shumake, son of the late Tripp Shumake, and Gary Pritchett, godson of the late Carol “Bunny” Burkett, a beloved figure known for her kindness and dedication to fans. Napp recalled how Burkett would personally engage with fans, exemplifying the warmth and hospitality that characterized the drag racing environment. This culture of connection made it difficult for David to part with the sport he loved since childhood. Napp Brothers Racing continues to embody the spirit of community, gratitude, and passion for drag racing that has defined the Napp family.
