To address these challenges, Stephens enlisted the expertise of Troy Baum at Race Wires, leading to a complete rewiring of his Mustang, a weight reduction, and the installation of advanced sensors. With the support of Chad, who assists with setup adjustments, the team continuously strives to enhance the car’s performance. After testing at Toronto Motorsports Park, though he encountered clutch issues, Stephens managed a competitive time of 9.31 seconds.
For the upcoming racing season in 2025, Stephens has scheduled events including the Misener Motorsports Summer Shootout and the Haltech World Tech Finals. He attributes much of his success to a strong support system, including his family and sponsors. As he considers moving to the Coyote Stock ranks, he plans to enhance his Gen 1 Coyote engine further, reflecting his ambitious goals in racing.
