Checking transbrake connections can be frustrating when faced with transmission fluid leaks that lead to electrical issues. Traditional solutions, like silicone and grommets, often fail as transmission fluid seeps through wire strands and connectors. Recognizing this limitation, ATI Performance Products introduced a new four-wire sealed pass-through connector system that effectively contains fluid within the transmission.

Standard connectors can be problematic because transmission fluid can wick through, compromising electrical connections needed for performance. To combat this, ATI designed a fully sealed connector with mil-spec wiring that prevents fluid intrusion. The system utilizes a standard 3/8-inch NPT threaded fitting, making it compatible with a variety of transmission cases without the need for extensive modifications.

For Turbo 400 applications, ATI offers a double O-ring billet aluminum adapter that fits directly into the factory kickdown hole, ensuring a leak-free installation without altering the transmission. Multiple kit configurations are available, accommodating varying installation preferences, from bare-wire setups for custom looms to complete packages with ready-to-plug AMP DTM sockets.

These kits are specifically engineered to support high-amp draws from modern solenoids, ensuring reliable performance. By eliminating common failure points and promoting solid electrical connections, ATI’s system allows racers to achieve instantaneous vehicle response. This innovation ultimately helps racers focus more on competition instead of dealing with leakage and wiring issues.
