The Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, part of the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, highlighted notable performances at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. Key events included the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge winners: Doug Kalitta secured his second consecutive title in Top Fuel, defeating rookie Maddi Gordon; Matt Hagan claimed his first Funny Car Challenge win of the season against Paul Lee; and reigning Pro Stock champion Dallas Glenn triumphed over Aaron Stanfield for his second consecutive victory.

In qualifying, Leah Pruett achieved the Top Fuel No. 1 spot with a time of 3.724 seconds at 329.75 mph, marking her first top qualifier position of the season. J.R. Todd became the Funny Car No. 1 qualifier for the first time since 2021, clocking in at 3.896 seconds at 335.32 mph, during NHRA’s 1,000th Funny Car race. Lastly, Greg Anderson recorded his 142nd career No. 1 qualifier with a run of 6.516 seconds at 209.69 mph. Known as the winningest active driver at Pomona, Anderson is in pursuit of his 17th victory at this significant venue.
